The warm fuzzy is an institution at Echo Lake. The warm fuzzy is THE way that campers and staff recognize each other… And the two things we recognize are being nice to other people and trying hard at activities. If you can do those two things, you can be successful at Echo Lake—that is all it takes! Each night at evening line-up before we go to dinner—in both the Main Village and Senior Village, we give out fuzzies. A great way to give and receive the fuzzy’s “Warm Inner Glow!” How do we give them out??? Campers and staff nominate each other for a fuzzy and the person receiving the fuzzy comes forward to reach into the fuzzy bag, which Tony brings to line-up every night, and selects a fuzzy for him or herself. Fuzzies are blue, green, yellow, red, orange and pink. And don’t forget about BIRTHDAY fuzzies—we give those out, too, on camper and staff birthdays! If you GET a fuzzy, you simply feel awesome! And if you GIVE a fuzzy, that feels even better!
